Licensure

The provision of health care is increasingly subject to licensure, accreditation, and credentialing requirements imposed by regulatory bodies, payors, and accreditation organizations.  Our Health Care attorneys are experienced in addressing licensure requirements under state law and credentialing with both public and private third party payors.  We have also assisted many institutional and professional providers in securing and maintaining accreditation from third party accreditation agencies.  We work with providers to structure operations to satisfy complex requirements.  Our work in this field extends to analyzing licensure requirements for emerging entities and services, assisting providers in securing initial licensure, addressing compliance and survey issues, and establishing the proper treatment of ancillary and provider-based facilities as components of the operations of providers.
